Texas is a state of big dreams, bold investments and vast opportunities.  The Texas Commission on the Arts is proud to play a role in the quality of life of every Texan and those wanting to make Texas their future home.  As one of your Commissioners, it is an honor to continue in that fine Texas tradition as we work together to build a strong foundation for the future of this great state.

My pledge to you is to help you and your family in their creative dreams.  I will work tirelessly for the people of Texas to develop a receptive climate for the arts through the conservation and advancement of our rich and diverse arts and cultural industries.
